“Reflections On Pine 2019: Strength of Our Past, Hope for Our Future”
In honor of "Gloria Richardson Day" declared by Governor Larry Hogan at our Black History celebration in 2017, ESNC will be facilitating two days of events: on February 9th & 10th, 2019.
To continue with our initiative "The Year of reading"' We will be hosting book talks with Dr. Kate Larson and Joseph Fitzgerald, Ph.D.
On the afternoon of February 9th, 2019, we will be honoring 10 people from our community who played a role in the Civil Rights movement and refused to accept the status quo.
February 10th, 2019, we invite you to join us for morning worship at historic Bethel AME Church, founded in 1847. Pastor Randolph Fitchett Jr. will be delivering a powerful message.
On the afternoon of February 10th, 2019 our keynote speaker will be the Honorable Elijah Cummings, United States Representative for Maryland's 7th congressional district.
